The Walking Dead spin-off stars Lauren Cohan as Maggie, with Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan. The six-part series follows the unlikely duo as they work together to locate Maggie’s son, Hershel (who was abducted and brought to a secluded Manhattan area). Maggie’s reason for teaming up with Negan is that she learned that Negan had once known the man who owns Hershel (the brutal Croat, played by Zelja Ivanek) and hopes that his complex relationship with him will help draw him out of hiding. Dead City takes place several years after the events of season 11 (you can infer from Hershel’s growth spurt that it definitely falls somewhere in the middle of this list).
